- The colors plates in this book are dark and muddy and give a poor idea of Larsson's work.
Not Recommended. - Not any of the 12 to 18 Larsson pictures you usually find in calendars. These are the home, farm, and family of Larsson. Great interiors, with the detail Larsson is known for. My Mother-in-law, who is a Swedish import, could almost not put this book down on Christmas. I am a GOOD daughter-in-law!
- I found more on line by this artist but this is a great start if you want to see the story of Gary Larsson. This is his family's story but mostly a lot of artwork from this man.
- The quality of the photographic reproductions is not good through much of the book. The paintings often look disappointingly darker than the originals.
- I adore Carl Larsson and this was supposed to be a gift for my daughter. After looking at every page and reading every word, now I have to order one for me. Beautifully done!!
